Renee Tomko, a 5-10 setter from Jefferson Hlls, PA, has signed a national letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at the University of Louisville.

"She has everything, the whole package," said U of L head coach Leonid Yelin. "She is a good athlete, has great court demeanor and should make the adjustment to the college game easily with her outstanding work ethic."

Tomko, who was a four-year varsity starter at setter for Thomas Jefferson High School, played her club ball with Renaissance Volleyball Club. In her four years at Jefferson, the Jaguars posted a 47-7 record. She was named All-Conference all four years and was All-Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic League as both a junior and senior. She was named to the All-State team the past two seasons as well. A member of both the 2005 and 2006 South Fayette All-Tournament Team, she was named Big 7 Tournament MVP in 2006 and 2007. The team captain, Tomko was named Seneca Valley Tournament MVP in 2006 and was a two-time regional All-Star.
