Dalela Ivory Hometown: Junction City, Kan. Position: Volunteer Assistant Birthdate: 06/12/1979 Experience: 1st Year

Dalela Ivory is in her first year as a volunteer coach with the Cardinals after competing in the triple jump for U of L last season.

During the indoor season, Ivory recorded a season-best jump of 37-2.50, the second best mark in school history. She won two individual titles during the outdoor season and finished with five of the top-10 jumps of all-time, the best being 37-11.50.

Prior to joining the track and field team, Ivory played one season with the Cardinal volleyball squad. She saw action in 13 matches for the Conference USA Tournament champions.

She transferred to U of L from Kansas City Kansas Community College, where she was an all-conference performer in basketball and volleyball.

A native of Junction City, Kan., Ivory received a bachelor's degree in accounting in December, 2001, and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in accounting.
