Things are heating up at the Wake Forest University Indoor Center just in time for the cool weather hitting Winston-Salem this weekend. The doubles round of 16 and singles round of 32 will begin Saturday morning at the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament at the Indoor Tennis Center on the WFU campus.

No Cardinals survived the round of 32 to advance to tomorrow's action. In the round of 64, Jo-Ann Van Aerde and Lindsey Jones defeated Valerie Behr and Lucy Doherty of UNC-Greensboro 8-2 but then fell to Alexandra Luc and Stefi Balda of Clemson 8-3. In the round of 32, Bianca Gorbea and Natalia Baez fell to Berkley Brock and Lenka Hojckova of North Carolina State 8-1 after receiving a bye in the first round.

In singles action, Frederick Van Adrichem of Clemson defeated Lindsey Jones 6-4, 6-3. Jo-Ann Van Aerde fell to Catherine Newman of Vanderbilt 7-5, 6-2. Katarina Tsang of North Carolina defeated Bianca Gorbea (UL) 6-2, 6-0.
