As a freshman: Played in 58 games with 56 starts at second base... Notched first career home run in the 7-2 win over Syracuse - also went 3 for 3 with two runs and two RBI in that game... Went 2 for 2 with three runs against Rhode Island (3/10)... Named to the Athletic Director's Honor roll in the fall and spring... Named to the Dean's List in the spring... Earned BIG EAST Academic All-Star honors.

In high school/club ball: Played softball for four years under coach Jackie Elston Carter...was a member of the ASA 18U "A" National Champion Team... Named Who's Who Among High School Student-Athletes... Also lettered four years in volleyball and one year in basketball...Valedictorian of her senior class.

Personal: Daughter of Keith and Pamela Saksefski...Born Rebecca Saksefski on November 29, 1987...
