Softball Begins 2011 Oklahoma City Challenge

Junior Chrisanna Robert sends her first blog as the Softball Cards embark on the second Oklahoma City Challenge

As a sophomore (2011): Made three appearances before suffering a season-ending knee injury in the first inning of the 14-4 loss to No. 15 Texas (2/13)... Named to Athletic Director's honor roll in the fall and spring... Dean's List and Red & Black Scholar in the fall.

As a freshman (2010): Posted 4-2 record with a 4.76 ERA before suffering a season-ending knee injury in the April 21 game against Syracuse... Registered 58 strikeouts in 39.2 innings of work... Tied a school record with 16 strikeouts in the 7-4 win over Youngstown State... Named to the Athletic Director's honor roll in the fall and spring... Dean's Scholar in the fall... Dean's List in the spring.

High School: Played softball fours years under coach Gene Poindexter... Named an All-Conference and State from 2006-08... Also selected All-District (2007-08)...
