LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Following its impressive 2-0 weekend, the Louisville women's soccer program returned to the national rankings on Monday entering at No. 23 in the latest Soccer America Top 25.

It is the first national ranking for the Cardinals since the 2008 season. Louisville improved to 3-0 overall with its victories over then-No. 13 South Carolina and Bucknell to win the Gamecock Courtyard Cup last weekend in Columbia, S.C.

Louisville is also among the teams receiving votes in the both the NSCAA Coaches Poll and the SoccerTimes.com Top 25 this week.

Sophomore Courtney Holtz (Peoria, Ill./Peoria HS) was also named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her defensive work in the Cardinals' wins last weekend.
