High School: Played four years of prep soccer at Manual High School where she was coached by Rick Underwood. Earned NCSAA All-American honors as a senior. Was a four-year All-State selection, including three years to First Team and one year to the Second Team. Four-year Region 6 All-Region Team member. Scored 43 goals as a senior and more than 100 goals in high school career. Named MVP of 2009 All-State Game. Was top goal scorer in Manual girls soccer history. Insight Kentucky High School Athletic Association Academic All-State Honorable Mention. Led Manual to state semifinals in 2010. Played club soccer for Mockingbird Valley, where she was the leading scorer and team captain in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Member of the Kentucky State ODP Team in 2008.
Personal: Born Casey Marie Whitfield on Nov. 27, 1992 in Louisville. Has three younger sisters, Maddie, Allison and Tess. Majoring in exercise science. Biggest thrill in sports was scoring seven goals in the Region 2 tournament while playing through an injury. After college, she wants to become a physical therapist. People with the greatest influence on her athletic career are her parents because they have always been there supporting her and helping her through everything. Hobbies and outside interests include tap dancing and playing basketball. Favorite movies are Love and Basketball and Bridesmaids. Favorite TV shows are How I Met Your Mother and SportsCenter. Favorite foods are meat and potatoes. Favorite team is Chelsea FC. Enjoys listening to rock, R&B, rap, alternative and country.
