2003: Placed third on the team in goals(3) and points(7) in her freshman season. Headed in the game winner in huge 1-0 victory over Cincinnati(11/1) in the 88th minute. Added a new facet to the Cards with her acrobatic flip throw-in. Found her way into the starting lineup in 16 of the 18 matches she played in. Made the AD Honor Roll, C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Dean's List. Was a Red and Black Scholar Athlete. Earned the C-USA Commissioner's medal.
High School: An All-City selection while earning four letters in soccer for the Eagles. Captained the team as a senior. Scored 29 goals and 22 assists in high school, including 22 goals as a junior and senior. Has played for the Cincinnati Hammers for nine years.
Personal: Born 5/5/85 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Michael and Darlene Scheer. Is majoring in Biology with a minor in exercise science. Hopes to earn a graduate degree in pediatric physical therapy. Spends time doing gymnastics, singing, kickboxing, rock climbing and cooking. Favorite foods are Gyros and Algamesis Banana Chocolate ice cream with whipped cream.
