2003: In her first season with the Cards, Romanello started 14 games and played all but two of U of L's games. Made the AD Honor Roll, C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and the Dean's List.

2002: Saw action in ten games for the Xavier Musketeers during her sophomore campaign at the outside back position.

2001: Played in four matches as a true freshman. A member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Earned four letters in soccer, starting every game of her four-year career. Named Defensive MVP and 2nd team GGCL as a senior co-captain. Scored three goals and eight assists in her four-year stay at Purcell Martin HS, also earning GGCL All-Academic Team honors for the Cavaliers. Earned one letter as a shortstop on the softball team.

Personal: Born 11/4/82 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Dan and Debbie Romanello. Is majoring in exercise science and sports medicine at Louisville. Would like to become a strength and conditioning coach at the Division I level after college. Has two younger brothers. Her biggest thrill in sports was playing against the WUSA's Washington Freedom and Mia Hamm over the summer with her club team. Lists Will & Grace, Road Rules and Real World as her favorite TV shows. Favorite teams are the USA National Women's Soccer Team and the UCONN women's basketball team. Would like to dine with Jesus, Diana Taurasi and her grandparents.
