Prior to UofL: Transferred to the University of Louisville from Pskov State University in Russia, where she rowed for three years under the guidance of coach Sergei Matveyev ... While in Russia, she won back-to-back silver medals in the 2x event at the Russian Championships in 2003 and 2004 ... Also earned the bronze medal in the 2x event at the 2005 Russian Championships.
