LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville lacrosse team will be holding walk-on tryouts on Sept. 3 from 7 to 7:45 a.m. ET at Cardinal Park Soccer and Track Stadium and on Sept. 9 from 1:30 to 3:45 p.m at U of L Lacrosse Stadium on South Floyd Street.

Those interested in trying out should attend a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. ET on the second floor of the Yum! Center on the U of L campus. The tryouts will then take place at designated times from 7 to 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept 3. and Sept. 9 at 1:30pm. It is mandatory that anyone interested in trying out is present at all events.

To try out for the lacrosse team, students must:

  • Have applied and been admitted to the University of Louisville
  • Be registered as a full-time student for the 2008 fall semester at the University of Louisville
  • Show proof of a completed physical conducted by a physician (such physicals can be within six months of the tryout). The form located at the top of this page must be completed by a physician prior to try-outs and students must also have a copy of their insurance card
  • Show proof of insurance at the time of the tryout
  • Sign a U of L athletic department tryout waiver and NCAA compliance forms
