Louisville NCAA Statistical Ranking Report Get Acrobat Reader

For the seventh straight week, University of Louisville lacrosse attacker Bergan Foley leads the nation in goals per game with an average of 4.59, up from her average of 4.53 from last week. Foley remains in first place in total goals with 78, with her seven goal performance against Villanova and three goal effort at then-No. 19 Rutgers. The seven goals against Villanova was the fourth time this season in which Foley notched seven goals in a game. She is currently six goals ahead of Erin Rawlick from the Navy who has 72 goals on the season for the national lead. Foley is also ranked third nationally with 84 points, as well as fourth nationally with 4.94 points per contest.

Sophomore midfielder Katie Oliverio continues to climb in the rankings and currently is first nationally in assists per game and total assists after being third in both categories last week. Currently, Oliverio has 46 assists in 17 games, averaging 2.71 assists per game. Oliverio averaged four assists per game last week, dishing out a single-game school tying record five against Villanova to go along with her three against Rutgers. The five assists against Villanova marked the third time this season in which Oliverio dished out five assists in a game, a feat previously accomplished against nationally ranked Georgetown and Manhattan. Oliverio is also 14th nationally with 4.41 points per game.

Emily Dashiell is currently ranked eighth nationally in draw controls, averaging 3.71 per contest. She recorded three draw controls at then-No. 19 Rutgers on Friday in a 14-9 triumph, which eliminated Rutgers from contention in the BIG EAST Tournament. Dashiell is also ranked nationally in caused turnovers, currently standing in 24th with 1.76 draw controls per contest.

The Cardinals remained second nationally as a team in draw controls, currently averaging 15.41 per contest, currently trailing national leader Northwestern by 1.78 draw controls per game.

Senior Ashley King leads U of L with 2.82 ground balls per contest, a mark good for 18th in the nation. Currently as a team, Louisville ranks 10th, averaging 21.24 ground balls per game. Last season, the Cards finished fifth nationally in ground balls with an average of 22.94 per game.

After averaging 16.5 goals per game last week, the Cardinals climbed from ninth nationally to fourth nationally in scoring offense, currently averaging 14.71 goals per game, 1.79 per game behind national leader Northwestern.
