LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The unbeaten University of Louisville lacrosse team will return from a week off from competition to host Robert Morris University on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, at the UofL Lacrosse Stadium and admission is free.

The Cards enter Sunday's game at 2-0 overall following last week highly successful opening weekend. The Louisville lacrosse program made its official debut last Friday with a 21-3 win over Division II foe Bryant University and the Cards followed that with an impressive 21-8 home win over Manhattan College on Sunday afternoon.

First-year attacker Bergan Foley led the Cards in the opening weekend with 10 total goals, including six against Manhattan, while first-year attacker Tara Restly had seven assists to go along with three goals in the first two games. And despite wintry weather conditions, including rain and snow, the Cards averaged more than 600 fans in their first two home games, including a record crowd of 727 for the inaugural game on Feb. 22.

"I love that we're in a developing area for lacrosse and yet we had more people in the stands against Bryant and Manhattan than many of the Maryland schools have in their top 10 match-ups," said Cards' head coach Kellie Young. "Once again, that just reinforces to our coaches and players that we're at one of the best schools in the country and in one of the most community-oriented cities in the nation. I want to say a special thank you to all of our fans and we hope to see all of you Sunday against Robert Morris."

Robert Morris, a member of the Northeast Conference, will open its 2008 season on Friday night at Cincinnati. The Colonials are picked to finish third in the Northeast Conference by the league's coaches. RMU finished 2007 at 7-9 overall and in fourth place in its conference with a 4-4 league mark.

For Sunday's game against Robert Morris, the first 100 fans to enter the gates at the UofL Lacrosse Stadium will receive free Cardinal vinyl lunch bags.

Following Sunday's game, the Cards will be on the road for six straight games before returning home on March 30 to host No. 9 ranked Georgetown.
