The 22nd ranked Louisville women's golf team is currently second after two rounds in the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Championship at the Fox Den Country Club. The Cardinals shot a 286 in the second round to finish the day at two under par. The Cardinals have a two round score of 582, eight strokes behind leader Tennessee. South Carolina is third with a score of 592.
Junior Sara-Maude Juneau leads the field after shooting a 69 in the second round. Juneau made the turn at even par then shot birdie on holes 10, 11 and 18 to finish at three under par. Juneau has a two round score of 141. Teammate Laura Anderson is right on Juneau's heels after carding a 70 in the second round. Anderson also made the turn at even par and then made birdie on holes 14 and 18 to finish at two under par. Anderson is tied for second with Tennessee's Nathalie Mansson with a score of 142.
Freshman Anna-Karin Ljunstrom had a solid day shooting a 74 in the second round. She finished the day tied at 16th with a score of 148. Senior Daphne Parker shot a 73 in the second round to move up 38 spots. Parker has a two round score of 153 and is tied at 42nd.
Freshman Candice Wiley shot an 83 in the second round. Wiley is currently tied at 88th with a score of 161. The Cardinals will wrap up play on Sunday with a 10:39 a.m. tee time.
