Hartford, Conn. - The No. 19/23 ranked Louisville Cardinals will take on the Hartford Hawks on the road on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m. in Hartford, Conn. The Cardinals are coming off a 65-63 thrilling, season-opening win on the road at Dayton, while Hartford defeated Quinnipiac 71-53 in their season opener.

Louisville is led by sophomore Monique Reid, who recorded her first career double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Newcomers LaToya Johnson and Asia Taylor both finished with 10 points apiece. Junior Deseree' Byrd leads the Cardinals with three assists per game.

In the Hawks win, Erica Beverly led the team with a double-double scoring 16 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. The Hawks had three other players score in double figures.

Tuesday's game will be the third meeting between the two schools with Louisville leading the overall series 2-0. In the last meeting, the Cardinals defeated the Hawks 70-42 in Freedom Hall last December.

Connecticut Public Television will air the game live. The game will be broadcasted locally on WKRD with Jim Kelch handling the play-by-play duties. The game will also be broadcasted on www.uoflsports.com.
