Louisville, Ky. - The 10th ranked Louisville women's basketball team will travel to Northern Kentucky to wrap up its exhibition season. The Cardinals and the Norse will tip off at 5:30 p.m. for the inaugural game in The Bank of Kentucky Center, which seats 9,400 and is a state-of-the-art-facility.

The Cardinals are 1-0 in exhibition play after defeating the ASGR All-Stars 94-69 on Monday night in Freedom Hall. Louisville's three returning starters led the Cardinals win scoring. Candyce Bingham led all scorers with 18 points, Angel McCoughtry added 17 points and Brandie Radde finished with 16 points. The Cardinals' highly touted recruiting class finished with 30 points and 18 rebounds. Deseree' Byrd made her debut at the point guard spot and dished out eight assists while Radde dished four assists.

NKU captured the NCAA Division II National Championship last season and returns three starters in 2008-09. The Norse posted a 28-8 overall record last season and also won the Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division title. NKU is ranked No. 1 nationally in the Division II Bulletin preseason poll. The Norse are also picked to repeat as GLVC East Division champions in the preseason poll.

Northern Kentucky University defeated Cincinnati 56-52 Saturday night in their first exhibition game. The Norse totally dominated play in the first half of the exhibition game and held off a late UC rally for the victory.

Louisville will kick of the season on Nov. 15 at Tennessee Tech at 6:30 p.m.
