LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's basketball team earned their third consecutive at-large bid to the 2007 NCAA Tournament. The Cardinals earned the No. 6 seed in the Greensboro Regional after finishing the season with a 26-7 overall record. The sixth seed is the best seed in the Cardinals' NCAA history while head coach Tom Collen is the first coach in Louisville history to guide the Cardinals to three straight NCAA appearances.

Louisville will face the No. 11 seed BYU from the Mountain West Conference on Saturday, March 17 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, Calif. at 8:00 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2. BYU finished the season with a 23-9 record after winning the Mountain West Conference regular season title. The Cougars fell to New Mexico 63-49 in the MWC Tournament final.
