Women's Basketball Host the Bearcats in Freedom Hall Tuesday Night

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's basketball team will host Cincinnati on Tuesday, Feb. 2 in Freedom Hall at 7:00 p.m. The game will be televised live on CBS College Sports with Dave Ryan and Debbie Antonelli calling the game. Louisville enters the game with an 11-10 overall record and a 3-5 record in the BIG EAST. The Cardinals are looking to bounce back after a hard fought road loss to No. 11 West Virginia (72-66). Louisville is led by a pair of sophomores in Monique Reid and Becky Burke. Reid leads the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 16.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. Burke is averaging 15.9 points per game and has hit 51 3-pointers on the season to lead the Cardinals from outside the arc. Cincinnati enters the game with a 9-11 overall record and a 2-6 record in BIG EAST play. The Bearcats have three double-digit scorers led by senior Kahla Roudebush, averaging 13.0 points per game. Junior Shareese Ulis is the second leading scorer, averaging 10.5 points per game. Senior Carla Jacobs rounds out the top scorers, with 10.2 points per game. Michelle Jones leads the Bearcats on the boards with 6.7 rebound per game. This will be the 59th meeting between the two schools with Louisville leading the overall series 35-23. The Cardinals defeated the Bearcats 63-49 on Jan. 2 in Fifth Third Arena. Louisville has won the last six games against the Bearcats. The game will be broadcast live on WKRD and will also be available on www.UofLSports.com. Jim Kelch will handle the play-by-play, while Adrienne Johnson will be the color analyst.
