Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's basketball team will travel to Morgantown, W.Va. to face No. 11 West Virginia in BIG EAST action on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 7:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast by WVPBS, which will air throughout the state of West Virginia.

Louisville enters the game with an overall record of 11-9 and 3-4 in BIG EAST play. The Cardinals are coming off a 53-50 home victory against Villanova, snapping a three-game losing streak. The Cardinals are led in scoring by sophomore Becky Burke, averaging 15.8 points per game. Burke is also leading the team from beyond the arc, knocking down 48 3-pointers on the season. Sophomore Monique Reid leads the team on the glass, averaging 9.1 rebounds per game and is second on the team in scoring with 15.7 points per game.

West Virginia enters the game with an overall record of 19-2 and 6-1 in BIG EAST play. Junior Liz Repella leads three Mountaineers in double figure scoring, averaging 14.4 points per game. Freshman Asya Bussie is the second leading scorer, averaging 11.9 points per game. Junior Korinne Campbell rounds out the top scorers with 11.6 points per game and leads the team on the boards with 7.9 per game.

This will be the eighth meeting between the two teams with West Virginia leading the series 5-2. Last season, the Cardinals were defeated by West Virginia at home, 79-70. Louisville is 0-2 all-time in WVU Coliseum.

The game will be broadcast live on WKRD and will also be available on www.UofLSports.com. Doug Ormay will be filling in for Jim Kelch and will call the action on Saturday
