The University of Louisville's 26th-ranked doubles team of Austen Childs and Simon Childs teamed to beat USC's Steve Johnson and Jaak Poldma 8-1 in the A-2 Doubles Flight of the UVa Ranked Plus One Invitational Sunday. Both players also won their singles matches on the final day of the tournament.

Childs and Childs went 3-0 en route to winning their flight, defeating teams from Duke and Virginia before meeting the Trojans in the finals.

Simon Childs finished third in Flight A-1 after defeating Virginia's Drew Courtney 6-3, 7-6 (7) in Sunday's third place match.

Austen Childs, No. 26 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association preseason rankings, topped No. 123 Calin Parr of Nebraska 7-5, 6-3 in his final match of the A-2 Flight.

The Cardinals will continue fall play Oct. 3-5 at the South Carolina Invitational.
