Louisville, Ky. - The Louisville men's soccer team will travel to South Bend, Ind. for the BIG EAST Quarterfinal match on Saturday against Notre Dame. The match will kick off at 6:00 p.m. at Alumni Field. Notre Dame is the top seed from the Blue Division while the Cardinals are the No. 4 seed from the Red Division.

The Cardinals are coming off a 2-0 victory over West Virginia on Wednesday in the first round of the BIG EAST Championship. Louisville is averaging 1.53 goals per game, while allowing 1.05 per contest. Senior Ryan McDonald and freshman Colin Rolfe both lead the team with identical stats of five goals and two assists. Senior Aaron Clapham has a team-high eight assists to go along with two goals, while leading the BIG EAST in assists. Freshman keeper Andre Boudreaux has played every minute in goal and carries a 0.96 goals-against average and a .725 save percentage with five shutouts.

Notre Dame (11-5-2) went 2-0-0 last week to clinch the BIG EAST Blue Division. The Irish are averaging 2.11 goals per game and allowing just 1.06 goals per game. The Irish are riding a 12-game home unbeaten streak into Saturday's match. Senior forward Bright Dike leads the team with 10 goals and 25 points.

The Cardinals defeated the Fighting Irish earlier this season 2-1 in overtime. It was one of only two losses for the Irish in league play. Senior Aaron Clapham scored the equalizer in the final minute to force the overtime. Sophomore defender Austin Berry then headed the game-winner in off a corner kick from JTMurray just four minutes into the extra period.
