Louisville, Ky. - The No. 5/7 Louisville men's soccer team will host the DePaul Blue Demons in the quarterfinals of the BIG EAST Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m. The Cardinals earned a bye from the first round after winning their first BIG EAST regular season championship in the Red Division.

Louisville enters the match with an overall record of 13-2-2 and a BIG EAST record of 8-2-1. The Cardinals are coming off their regular season finale with a 5-0 win against Villanova, setting a new school record in wins with 13 and to clinch their first ever BIG EAST regular season title. The Cardinals are led by sophomore forward Colin Rolfe, who leads the team in goals scored with a career-high 10 goals and in points with 22 on the year. Senior midfielder Freddie Braun had his best game as a Cardinal against Villanova scoring two goals and dishing out an assist. He is second on the team in goals with eight on the season.

Leading the Cardinals between the posts is sophomore goalkeeper Andre Boudreaux. Boudreaux has a 0.63 goals against average, with 32 saves and 12 shutouts on the year. His 12 shutouts are a new school record as well.

DePaul enters the game with an overall record of 8-9-2 and a league record of 5-6-0. The Blue Demons advanced to the BIG EAST quarterfinal by defeating Georgetown 3-1 in penalty kicks on Wednesday afternoon. The game ended in a 2-2 tie before going to penalty kicks. The Blue Demons are led by Steffen Vroom with eight goals and four assists for 20 points on the season. In the goal for DePaul is Joe Ferrari, who has a 1.70 goals against average with 60 saves and two shutouts this season.

Louisville leads the overall series 11-7-1 against DePaul. The two schools met earlier this season in Chicago with the Cardinals coming away with a 6-0 win. Louisville defeated DePaul 2-0 the last time the two teams met in Cardinal Park.
