NEW YORK - - University of Louisville junior placekicker Art Carmody and senior defensive tackle Amobi Okoye were named second team All-Americans by the Associated Press, while senior offensive guard Kurt Quarterman earned third team honors.

Carmody, who won the Lou Groza Award for the nation's best kicker, booted 20-of-23 field goals and was a perfect 57-of-57 on extra points. Okoye, a first team All-BIG EAST selection, recorded 49 tackles and six sacks. Quarterman, who was also first team All-BIG EAST selection, started all 12 games.

Elvis Dumervil was a first team Associated Press All-American last season.
