Petrino Previews Saturday's Regular-Season Finale with UConn

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville football head coach Bobby Petrino, senior running back Kolby Smith and senior defensive tackle Amobi Okoye met with members of the media on Monday to preview the Cards' regular-season finale against Connecticut. The Cards and Huskies will meet on Saturday at Noon ET on Senior Day at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN. The Cards enter the game at 10-1 overall and 5-1 in BIG EAST play after a 48-24 road win over Pittsburgh last Saturday, while UConn is 4-7 overall and 1-5 in the conference following a 26-23 loss to Cincinnati last Saturday. Cards Ranked Sixth in the BCS, Sixth and Seventh in the Polls: UofL enters the UConn game ranked sixth in the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) standings released on Nov. 26. The Cards are ranked sixth in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, and seventh in the Harris Interactive Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll.
