Louisville vs Army Game Center:
Game Notes | Gametracker | Gameday Central

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville football team will travel to the East Coast this weekend to open Conference USA play at Army on September11. Kick-off is set for 1:06 p.m. at Michie Stadium. The game can be seen live in the Louisville area on WDRB Fox 41.

The Cardinals hit the road for the first time this season after a 28-0 win last weekend against Kentucky.

Army, which went 0-13 last season, is set for the debut of head coach Bobby Ross. The Black Knights are experienced and pose the Cardinals a lot of problems.

"This is a tough game," said head coach Bobby Petrino. "We don't know what they are going to do because they have a brand new staff. We know they have tremendous student-athletes and they'll be ready to go."

This will be the ninth meeting between the Cardinals and Army with Louisville winning 34-10 last season at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
