LOUISVILLE- - University of Louisville juniors Eric Wood and Adrian Grady have been named to he Football Writers Association of America Watch Lists for 2007 Outland Trophy and 2007 Bronko Nagurski Trophy, respectively.

The Outland Trophy has been awarded to the best interior lineman in college football since 1946. The winner is selected by the FWAA's All-America Committee, which selects the association's 25-man All-America team and picks the three Outland Trophy finalists and the winner.

Wood has started 25 straight games for the Cardinals and was named first team All-BIG EAST Conference a year ago. He's arguably one of the best centers in the nation and could be in for his best season in 2007.

The Bronko Nagurski Trophy is awarded in memory of the legendary Nagurski and is given to the best defensive player in the country. Grady was added to the list despite coming off an injury-plagued season in 2006. Playing in 10 games, Grady recorded 16 tackles and one tackle for loss a year ago. However, he notched three stops and a tackle for loss in the Orange Bowl win over Wake Forest.

Elvis Dumervil won the Nagurski Award in 2005 for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals report to camp on August 1 to begin preparation for the 2007 season.
