Rocky Hunt heads into his second season on the Cardinal coaching staff and his first as a defensive graduate assistant after spending the 2001 season working with the strength and conditioning staff.

A 2000 graduate of Appalachian State, Hunt was a two-time first team All-Southern Conference selection and a first team Walter Camp All-America selection during his four-year career.

A dominant pass rusher, Hunt graduated as the Mountaineers' record holder with 25.5 career sacks and ranked third with 61 career quarterback pressures after leading the team in 1998 (15) and 1999 (25).

Born December 14, 1976 and a native of Gastionia, North Carolina, Hunt is marred to the former Ayokka Green.
