2002: Wrapped up his inaugural campaign as the nation's second-leading kickoff returner, averaging 28.9 yards on 31 returns ... named the Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Year ... tied the U of L and C-USA record with a pair of kickoff returns for touchdowns and fell four yards shy of the school and league single season record for kickoff return yards with 897 ... his 28.9 yard kickoff return average tied the third-best single season average ever at U of L and the fourth-best single season average in C-USA history ... caught 13 passes for 110 yards... made a splash in his Cardinal debut when he took the opening kickoff of the second half against Kentucky 100 yards for a score, establishing a new C-USA record and becoming just the fourth player in school history to return a kickoff 100 yards ... notched his second kickoff return for a touchdown against Cincinnati when he scampered 92 yards to paydirt early in the third quarter.
