Personal:

  • Born Oct. 6, 1988 ... Son of George and Cynthia Goode ... Major is communication.
  • Personal goal at U of L is "to become the best player I can be."
  • Enjoys "collecting shoes and hitting the mall" in his spare time.
  • Chose to attend U of L because "it was the place for me to become the player I need to be."
  • Best basketball advice given to him was to never give up.
  • His mother Cynthia has had the greatest influence on his athletic career.
  • When he played basketball as a kid, he pretended he was Penny Hardaway.
  • Wanted to wear No. 22 because he needed a change from high school. One of his favorite players, Rudy Gay, wears the same number.
  • One of the best moments of his athletic career was scoring 18 points in two minutes of action at Nike Camp.
  • Few people know that "I am a super neat and clean person."
  • Most proud of "my life and becoming a man over the years."
  • If you walked into his dorm room, the first thing you would notice is "how clean it is and his posters and shoes."
  • What impresses him the most about Coach Pitino: his sense of style, his will to win and how real of a person he is.
