LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Poor weather conditions have postponed Opening Day for the University of Louisville baseball team Friday. The Cardinals and the Cleveland State Vikings will now play a pair of nine-inning games on Saturday beginning at 12:00 p.m.

This marks the first time in NCAA history that all Division I baseball teams have a uniform start date, creating the first ever Opening Day for college baseball.

The Cardinals return 17 letterwinners from the 2007 team that set a school record with 47 wins and advanced to the College World Series in Omaha.

Once again, all home and postseason games will be broadcast locally on Sportsradio 1450 WAVG. Sean Moth will be behind the mic providing play-by-play. He is in his seventh season as the radio voice of the Cardinal baseball team and has over 15 years of broadcast experience.

The Cards and Vikings are scheduled to wrap up the three-game set on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Admission to all regular season home games at Jim Patterson Stadium is free.
