LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 2007 season opener for the University of Louisville baseball team against Murray State Tuesday at Jim Patterson Stadium has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Ohio Valley.

The game has yet to be rescheduled.

Cardinal Head Coach Dan McDonnell, in his first season at U of L, and the Cardinals will now open the season on the road Friday at 1:00 p.m. ET in Hattiesburg, Miss. in the Coca Cola Classic against Northwestern State.

Louisville is scheduled to open the home portion of their schedule on Wednesday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. against Morehead State.
