2008: Played in 20 games for the Cardinals, going 2 for 11 at the plate with three runs and an RBI, starting twice. Was 3 for 3 staling bases. Scored as a pinch runner on a sac fly in win over Ball State(5/13). Stole a base and scored a run in win at IU(5/7). Went 1 for 2 with an RBI in his first career start at Pitt (3/30). Scored as a pinch runner against UT(3/19). Lashed a single to center in his first at bat of the season at #5 Vandy (3/4).
Panola College: Named All-Conference and a member of the 2006 Texas/NM JUCO All-Star game. Batted .367 his freshman season, belting 11 doubles and driving in 24 runs. Followed that up his sophomore season with a .351 average with 12 doubles, six home runs, 37 RBI and 45 steals.
High School: Earned three letters in baseball and two in football, winning the state title in both sports his senior season at Union High School in Tulsa. Batted a personal best .495 as a junior with 29 doubles and seven home runs, driving in 36. Swiped 62 bases in three seasons of prep baseball. A member of the All-Conference and All-Metro teams while playing for the Redskins.
Personal: Born 12/2/86 in Tulsa to Allan and Shirley Wondra. Is a sport administration major at U of L. His hobbies and interests include baseball, any sports, video games and hanging out with his friends. The Saw movies and Big Daddy rank among his favorites. Watches Baseball Tonight, SportsCenter and Man vs. Wild on TV. He cheers for the Yankees and Astros and Derek Jeter is his favorite athlete. Chicken, shrimp, steak and chips and salsa are his favorite foods in addition to going out to TGIFridays and Chili's. Lived in Texas until his sophomore season of high school. Would like to have dinner with Jeter, Roger Clemens and Tiger Woods.
