2003: Received a medical redshirt following a season that limited him to just 7.1 innings in two outings. Picked up a win in his first outing against UNC-Asheville(2/28), allowing four runs on five hits and a walk in five innings, while fanning four.

2002: Posted a 5-1 record and team-beast 3.90 ERA in 11 games, starting nine. Went the distance three times, striking out 45 and walking just six in 62.1 innings. Limited opponents to a .257 batting average. Was 4-1 with a 3.43 ERA in C-USA games. Went at least six innings in all but two starts. Earned his third career C-USA Pitcher of the Week award after limiting Vanderbilt(2/22) to one run on five hits in 7.0 innings in the season opener. Went the distance at Saint Louis(3/22), striking out a career-high 13, and allowing just one run on seven hits and two walks. Was one out away from a complete game shutout of Southern Miss before giving up a solo home run in a five-hit, one run effort, striking out six. U of L was 10-1 in games that Tisdale pitched. Named to the AD and C-USA Honor Rolls.

2001: Lead the team in wins(7) and innings(94.2), placing him eighth in the conference. Fanned 73 while walking just 15 batters-one intentionally, nearly a 5 to 1 ratio. Named Conference USA Pitcher of the Week twice for complete game shutouts against Detroit(2/17) and Southern Illinois(3/9) in which he gave up seven hits and five walks while fanning 18 in the two games. Walked one or fewer in 14 of his seventeen appearances, with only four wild pitches and four hit batters. Started 15 games, the second highest total in school history. His seven wins tied him in the eighth spot in single-season efforts and the 94.2 IP ties him for the sixth spot. Won five consecutive starts in the month of March, tossing at least 6.2 innings in each. Struck out 36 and walked four in conference games. Made AD Honor Roll.

2000: Pitched for St. Petersburg Community College in Florida. Second-team all-conference and all-academic selection in the Sun Coast Conference. Team finished second in Florida. Posted a 5-4 won/loss record.

High School: Lettered in baseball and ice hockey for the St. Peter's Saints. Earned three letters in hockey at right wing, and won a silver medal in the 1998 Ontario Winter Games. On academic honor roll all four years of high school. Tabbed by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 38th round of the MLB draft.

Personal: Born 5/8/81 to Brian and Kim Tisdale in Peterborough, Ontario, the same hometown of NHLers Bob Gainey and Roger Neilson. Majoring in political science with a minor in history at U of L and would like to play pro ball or join the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. Biggest thrill in sports was winning the silver medals and being drafted by the Blue Jays in 1999. Favorite TV shows are Trailer Park Boys and Hockey Night in Canada, favorite movie is Slapshot. "Tizzy's" favorite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs and his favorite athlete is Gary Roberts. Listens to Tragically Hip and Our Lady Peace. Favorite cereal is Cheerios. Wears number 23 because coach Mundorf won't let him have number 12. Played on same hockey team with current Philadelphia Flyer forward Justin Williams when they were 10 years old. Dream dinner date would be Wayne Gretzky, Winston Churchill and the Pope.
