2002: Missed season due to injury. Has been a member of the A.D. Honor Roll and Dean’s List each semester while at Louisville.
2001: Saw limited action at first base in his first season of college baseball. Was 3 for 4 with an RBI in his first career start against Detroit(2/17). Was 2 for 4 with a double, a home run, two runs and two RBI against Memphis(4/8).
2000: Redshirted at North Carolina State.
High School: Was a three year letterwinner at Athens Drive High school in football and baseball. All-conference quarterback and three years academic all-conference. Three time all-conference and twice all-state in baseball. Member of National Honor Society. Batted over .400 with 27 2B, 8 3B, 12 HR and 87 RBI. Also was 10-4 with two saves off the mound. High school team was state runner-up in baseball.
Personal: Born 2/13/81 in Garfield Heights, Ohio to Mike and Laura Hall. “B’s” major is sports administration. Aspires to work in professional sports or in Australia. Wears a size 6 7/8 cap. Wears #17 because of Mark Grace. Was friends with Josh Hamilton growing up. Dream golf foursome is Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit from ESPN’s College Gameday. Dad played football and baseball at Davidson. Biggest thrill in sports was playing in Skydome in front of 15,000 fans before Blue Jays and Devil Rays game against current teammates Ryan McKinnon and Mike Tisdale. His brother Jake is at Georgia Tech, and his other brother Mick was ranked the 18th best HS junior in the nation by Baseball America. Favorite Athletes are Shaun Alexander and Omar Vizquel. Celebrated his Ohio Buckeyes winning the National Title. Favorite food is “anything he can get his hands on.”
