High School: Earned three letters in football, one in wrestling and four in baseball . Three-time All-State, All-Region and All-Conference as an infielder. Smacked 39 doubles, three triples, four home runs and scored 84 runs while driving in 122 in four-year career, accumulating 73 walks and stealing 20 bases. Batted a prep-best .44 as a sophomore with 30 runs and 45 RBI. Was a member of the 2002 Arizona State Champion Fountain Hills squad as a freshman. Played for the 2003 Blue-Gray National Champion Team Tampa.

Personal: Born 10/7/86 in Fort Lauderdale to Tami and Dominic Albanese. Is majoring in criminal justice. Has an older brother and a younger sister. Would like to follow in his dad's footsteps as a DEA Agent after college if pro ball does not work out. His dad has the greatest influence on his athletic career. Rudy, SuperTroopers and Scarface are his favorite movies. Watches the Sopranos and ESPN on TV. Follows the Bucs, Devil Rays and Lightning. Likes dancing in his spare time. David Eckstein, Derek Jeter, Derrick Brooks and Ronde Barber are his favorite athletes. Would like to dine with Jesus, Derek Jeter and his dad-"so he could experience it with me."
