Ian Trapp Class: Senior Hometown: Hopkinsville, KY High School: Hopkinsville Event: Freestyle

As a junior, Ian reset three of his lifetime bests. At the BIG EAST Championships, he set a new lifetime best in the 50-free and just missed scoring at the conference championship. Against WKU, he set a lifetime best in the 100-free. As a freshman, Ian set lifetimes best in the 50-free against Western Kentucky, the 100-free at the Indiana Invitational and the 200-free at Notre Dame's Shamrock Invitational. He came to U of L from Hopkinsville High School where he was a three-time team High Point Award Winner and team captain. At the 2005 KHSA Championship, he finished 3rd in the 50-free. In 2003, at the Region 1 Championship, he finished first in the 100-free. He swam for Pennyrile Aquatics Club for Keith Marquess. He was also recruited by Niagra and Kentucky. Personal: He is the son of John and Anne Trapp. He is majoring in finance/pre-law. He was born July 3, 1987.
