Anne Chambers Class: Senior Hometown: Russellville, Ky. High School: Russellville High School Position: Breaststroke

Junior: Anne spent her junior season swimming the 100- and 200-breast for the Cardinals and qualified for BIG EASTs. She scored in the Purdue Invitational and against Tennessee, Miami of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Sophomore: As a sophomore, Anne qualified for the BIG EAST in the breaststroke for the second straight year. She swam the 200-breast against Missouri, West Virginia and Kentucky. She has also competed in the 200-medley relay for the Cardinals.

Freshman: Anne added depth to the Cardinal breaststrokers, swimming both the 100- and 200-Breast at the 2008 BIG EAST Championships. She also represented UofL well at the 2007 Purdue Invite, turning in a lifetime best in the 200 IM with a 2:18.69.

Prep: Anne came to U of L from Russellville, Ky. where she was coached by Dee Wilkins at Russellville High School and the Southern Kentucky Swim Club. In 2007, Chambers was the top senior finisher in the 100-breast at the Kentucky High School State Championships, placing fifth. She posted All-American consideration times in the 100-breast in 2006 and 2007.

Personal: She is the daughter of James and Merewyn Chambers. Major is exercise science. She was born July, 5, 1989.

Cardinal Highlight: Anne has qualified for BIG EASTs three straight years.
