Lisa Yennes is in her fifth year on the University of Louisville athletic development staff and her third as Associate Athletic Director for Development. Her role with the Cardinals is to oversee the Cardinal Athletic Fund, which has over 10,000 supporters and is the primary fundraising vehicle for UofL Athletics.
Yennes joined the UofL staff in 2006 after seven years in athletic development at Syracuse University, last serving as Director of the Orange Pack. Among her accomplishments with the Orange was raising $1.6 million toward a scholarship endowment for the men's crew program, increasing annual giving funds by 25 percent in one year and improving contacts with and gifts obtained from former letterwinners. She directed the Orange athletics annual giving program and coordinated the Dave Bing Basketball and Ernie Davis Football Funds.
Prior to her time at Syracuse, she worked as an athletic development fund assistant for eight years at Connecticut, her alma mater. With the Huskies she assisted with gift solicitations, capital projects, and coordinated Connecticut's Women's Basketball Tipoff Club.
Yennes earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design at Connecticut as well as a master's degree in sport management from the BIG EAST school. She and her husband, Tarreck, have a son, TJ.
