Cardinal Life Skills
The University of Louisville's Cardinal Life Skills Program is an all-encompassing program that wraps itself around the individual during his/her collegiate career and serves as a link between the student-athlete and the campus-wide opportunities they often have difficulty accessing due to their commitments as a student-athlete. This program is supported by the NCAA CHAMPS/Life Skills (CHallenging Athletes Minds for Personal Success) Program.
The Cardinal Life Skills Program consists of five vital commitments to our student-athletes: Academic Excellence, Personal Development, Community Service, Career Development, and Athletic Excellence. Through these five commitments, the University of Louisville seeks to assist student-athletes in developing the necessary "life skills" to lead productive lives, and become leaders and contributors in their biggest game: the game of life. The Cardinal Life Skills Matrix provides students-athletes with an overview of the programming opportunities that are available to them throughout their journey as a Louisville Cardinal.
